Drum Major

Gather all Drum Major parts.

Install Washer 75-1416 onto Vertical Shaft 75-1940, followed by Bushing 75-1408.

Install Spray Tail to Vertical Shaft 75-1940.

Apply Anti-Seize to all threads.

Torque Spray Tail to 20 ft-lbs. Max.

Install Vertical Shaft/Spray Tail assembly to Body 75-1467.

Install Disk 75-1445 to Vertical Shaft 75-1940. Seat Motor 75-1453 against the groove in Body.

Clamp flats of Body in a soft jaw vice. Install Inlet Cap 75-1403. Torque Inlet Cap to 60ft-lbs Max.

DO NOT clamp with excessive force. If using a vice without soft jaws, clamp to flats of Inlet Cap.

Apply Anti Seize to all threads.

After tightening the Inlet Cap, the assembly is complete.

Machines are supplied with a 7-33-1 Solid Bypass Plug and a 75-1455-B (.093) Bypass Plug.
